01/2007 - Portrait enhancement

This week I've been watching a portrait enhancement video tutorial. I decided to give it a try and I took a few photos of my beautiful wife. Then, I converted the raw file using Bibble and then moved to GIMP.

I was a bit worried trying to avoid the Madame Tussauds look on the model. I have worked on the following:

• Lips (color and contrast)
• Eyes (contrast and eyeball color)
• Silhouette (hair line)
• Skin (removed blemishes and marks)

I was quite happy with the final result, exception made to the hair line that looks a bit fuzzy.
